For stays of 7 nights or greater the rate is $155 per night, stays less than 7 nights are $175 per night. There is a one time clean fee of $95, the Hawaii State tax is 13.42%. Please call toll free for stays during the Holiday Season of December 18 through January 8, the 7 night extended discount is not applied during this period. Max. 2 persons

Deposits

We require one half (50%) the total due in order to hold your reservation at Turtle Cove Suites. Maximum occupancy 2 persons per Suite The balance is due no later than 60 days prior to your arrival. For stays during our Holiday Season, we require full payment 90 days prior to arrival.

Taxes

In addition to room rates, taxes are due on all accommodations in the State of Hawaii. They amount to 13.42%, a combination of occupancy tax and a general excise tax.

Cancellation Policy (Individual Suites)

Notice of cancellation at Turtle Cove Suites must be received at least 60 days prior to check in to receive a deposit refund, less $100 processing fee.

All monies will be forfeited if cancellation is received with less than 60 days notice and we cannot re-rent “your” nights. Only the cleaning fee and the tax associated with the cleaning fee will be returned with in one week of written notification of cancellation.

If you cancel with less than 60 days prior to your arrival date Turtle Cove Suites will return any room rate monies and the Hawaii tax associated with the room rate collected for each of “your” days that are re-rented. Renter accepts that Turtle Cove Suites, the Rentor, may be required to discount the room rate of the Suite as the arrival date approaches. It is at the sole discretion of the Rentor, Turtle Cove Suites, what amount is negotiated. The monies collected from re-renting “your” nights is what will be returned less a $100.00 processing fee.

There are no refunds for early departures.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

Travel insurance typically covers your losses if family medical crises or certain other emergencies force you to abandon or abbreviate a trip. There are a number of different companies offering travel insurance over the internet. A list of popular Travel Insurance Consolidators is below:

Security and Lost Item Fees

By giving us your credit card number, you agree to be responsible for additional housekeeping charges (for excessive cleaning, laundry or check out past 11 AM), damage to the property, ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING, use beyond the scope (no parties, receptions, luaus or other commercial use), occupancy beyond permitted maximum number of people and lost items. Before checking out, please be certain to check your car trunk for any beach towels. There is a $100 fee for lost keys or towels.

Arrival and Departure

Check in time is 4pm and Departure is 11am.

Holiday Season

Our Holiday Season runs from December 18 through January 8 each year. During our Holiday Season we do NOT apply the extended rate discount.

Parking

There is free parking on the property. One space is provided for each Suite.

Will There Be Someone To Meet Us At The House When We Arrive

While we live close to the Suites there will be no one to greet you upon your arrival. In our “Paid in Full” email we provide the directions to the Suite from the Lihue Airport along with the access code to your Suite. When you arrive after sunset the exterior of the property is well lit, and the lights are turned on for your arrival in your Suite when we inspect at 3 pm on the day of your arrival. We are aware of your arrival time and we will be available by phone if you have difficulty with the directions to the Suite.

Is There Food, Spices, or Condiments In The Kitchen Upon Our Arrival?

You will find a complimentary coffee starter kit and creamer for one pot of coffee located in the coffee maker tray. All other foodstuffs are removed from the previous guests stay. We dispose of all food, spice, and condiment containers that are open.

Additional Cleaning Services

With 24 hours notice we can arrange with our cleaning staff to clean your Suite anytime. There is a minimum of 2 hours ($50) charge for this service.
