Upon entering the 2800 square foot Turtle Cove you realize that you are in a special world. The foyer welcomes you with a gold leaf mirror from Chang Mai, to the Kauai artist Bill Hartsell’s wood leaf carving, to the early 20th Century Chinese kitchen food safe. These objects heighten your senses and quicken your pace as you ascend the Brazilian Cherry stairwell to the open living space with its 12 foot ceilings and hardwood floors. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is ready for your creations with all the appliances that you expect in a kitchen with polished stone granite work areas.
The formal dining area seats six at a wrought iron and glass table by artist K. Suarez. The furnishings in the living area are deep cushioned and effortlessly comfortable. With warm hues that are relaxing and reflect an international blend of cultures which makes Kauai so special.
The late 19th Century armoire houses the 37″ flat panel TV and other electronics necessary in today’s world. We understand that staying connected with work and family on the mainland is necessary and we offer these tools to make your stay more convenient.
