Mana Suite

The Mana Suite is your vacation rental in Kauai. The small alcove before you ascend the stairs houses a Korean dowry jewelry chest which stands over 50 inches high. Atop the chest are Hawaiian artifacts, rare Raku pottery piece by Kauai’s Robbrecht Troost and an interesting natural fiber basket by Kauai artist Julia Hill.

This is our fully air conditioned Suite located on the second floor with 12 foot vaulted ceilings and 850 square feet of living area with great ocean, stream, and garden views.  Decorated and furnished with original Polynesian and Pacific art. The South Seas atmosphere along with the ever present water sounds of the river and the ocean will make your time with us memorable. Ideal for a honeymoon getaway that is far from the ordinary.

The spacious bathroom has his and her sinks inlaid in marble counter tops and decorator marble floors. There is a deep, two person, jacuzzi tub, a generous amount of windows, and a large separate marble tiled shower.

The open living area has a comfortable Polynesian reed furniture and leads out to the ocean view lanai. An original Polynesian tapa adorns one wall, next to the unique king-size, four poster bed.

The fanciful and royal like four poster bed is playful whimsy designed for that special couple. Pillow top mattress with just the right amount of support make the King size bed magical.

South Pacific art is highlighted in this space. From the large tapa created in the Fiji Islands by Owner Joe Sylvester’s village while he was there in the Peace Corps. To the tribal carvings from the eastern Sepik region of Papua New Guinea the space revels in the mix of textures and palates finding its own presence amidst the art of Pacific Rim countries juxtaposed with Hawaiian art.

On the ocean view lanai in this Poipu Beach rental you can watch the sunrise and boats cruising beyond the entrance to Whaler’s Cove. Have your meals overlooking the stream and the turtles in the Cove.

The kitchen area is furnished with a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, dual burner hotplate and an adequate supply of china, utensils and cookware. On your private lanai overlooking the Waikomo Stream and Ocean there is a stainless steel BBQ gas grill for your enjoyment.

The Mana Suite  is also equipped with high speed internet access, telephone, 27” TV, DVD and stereo as well as a blow dryer, iron and ironing board.
